Feas literally means ugly in Spanish, why? "Well, because Feas is made of something that is perceived as waste, apple waste. We just twisted it and made something useful out of it, these sneakers."
THE REAL WHY – THE WALK
Hola, I’m Gemma. My story starts in an entirely different industry. The industrialized pre-made food kind of background. Sexy. In between TL light offices and factory tours, I found so needed solace in fashion magazines. Meanwhile I saw how our shift in mindset going green, veganism, ethical production, the much dreaded “greenwashing” label, are all topics that kept popping up and made me think differently.
You and I are responsible for what we consume but hey, what is not taught can’t be understood!
After having to throw away another pair of swooshy shoes, I realized there is one part of our daily lifestyle which is often overlooked, fashion.
I wanted to have a real impact and change the status quo, give you the right environmental and conscious option. Did you know that most of the sneakers are made or derived with animal? Fight the traditional.
From the bird of source materials to the afterlife of the shoes.
[Enter Feas], a circular production brand that doesn’t shy away from the ugly truth without calling you beautiful.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
FEAS was born in the fashion capital, the vibrant city of Antwerp. After that, it was taken to Spain, where the roots lie, where home is. To become something, to exist. And yes, the left and right shoe design were different from the start, reflecting the diverse world around us. Different like you and I- like all of us.
Our sneakers are the common thread to become a conscious buyer.
They represent the beauty of asymmetry, the freedom to choose how you dress and celebrating the unique person behind each look.
An idea, aiming to challenge the status quo of fashion and improve the world bit by bit. This project is not a one woman show. Many people continue to help take this small brand to a higher level. One of them being Marta, a dedicated slow fashion lover.
Feas brand kicks off with timeless essentials that inspire, that look good on everyone who wears them and are good for Pacha-mama.
